25th February is Graham Johnson Day (#207) at Waratahs CC of Armidale. His two highest scores were made on this day. In 1978, he played probably his finest innings for Waratahs, scoring 163 not out and taking Waratahs to the win against a strong Easts side, after coming to the wicket at 3-11 chasing 199. On that occasion, he had an unbeaten partnership of 124 with Brian Mair (#307) which took the side home comfortably, with just over 63% of Waratahs runs coming from Johnno's bat.
Eleven years later, he made 159 for 2nd grade, adding an all grades Club record 262 for the 3rd wicket with Martin Campbell (#490), this time just under 62% of the runs scored while he was at the wicket.
Other century partnerships were added over the years by Lyndon Strong (#337)/John Baillie (#330) and Phil Rees (#636)/Daniel Evans (#632) and Roger Roan (#176) took 7-12, his best bowling figures in a long Waratahs career.
