THE FINALS - 1st Grade v Easts, 28th/29th March 1987
This was the killer Final that probably marked the start of the decline of Easts as a powerhouse in the 1980's. Often referred to "Conno's Final", his outstanding spell of sustained new ball bowling - supported by Andrew McNeill and Joe Harrison - strangled the Daffodils and then James Campbell quickly secured the win.
