The Tahs Inc, formerly Waratahs CC of Armidale are pleased to announce that nominations for the Waratahs Ian Campbell Scholarship are now open.
The Scholarship program identifies talented junior cricketers and provides then access to expert training and support from the number one cricket club in Sydney, Manly Warringah DCC.
Last year's recipient, Brooke Moran, a junior cricketer playing for Easts Cricket Club in Armidale, trained in Sydney, was accepted in the Manly Warringah Pathways Program, debuted for the Manly Warringah U19 side and subsequently represented NSW Schools at the U/15 and U/19 Australian Championships. At the end of the U15 Championships, she was named in the Australia U/15 All Star Team.
This is an outstanding program funded from members of the club and aims to put back into the game some of the delights we all experienced in playing for Waratahs.
