This season the St George DCC was in a spot of bother when our incoming overseas player, Ed Pollock made the tough decision to retire from cricket. Thankfully this paved the way for young English First Class cricket Jack Haynes to venture out to Sydney and line up with the St George from Round 7 to Round 15. Jack in his short time as a professional cricketer has built up quite a collection of experiences including his first club debut against Australia no less. He started the season in Australia with an exquisite 78 from 88 balls against Bankstown and fast became an integral part of the team.
