UTS North Sydney Access Grants Bradman Medal 2024/25

UTS North Sydney District Cricket Club | June 30, 2025

The 2024/25 season was the eighth in which the Access Grants Bradman Medal was awarded to our First Grade player of the year, thanks to the continued generous support of our longstanding sponsor. Points are awarded in each round based on runs, wickets and fielding dismissals, and totted up to determine the overall positions. The winner at the end of the season takes home $1,000, and there’s $100 on offer for each round.

This year, captain Mac Jenkins went back-to-back after winning the Medal in 2023/24, thanks to his run of bowling form in the early season. However, Mac was pushed close by Jamieson Hedges, whose extraordinary run of form with the ball in the final matches, including his first two 5-wicket hauls at the top grade, got him within two points. Addison Sherriff also performed strongly with two tons and wickets to boot, and Tim Reynolds would surely have been in contention had his knee not given way in Dubbo during Round 9.

The round winners were as follows:

  • Round 2: Mac Jenkins, 4/48 vs. Gordon
  • Round 3: Mac Jenkins 27 & 3/27 vs. Penrith
  • Round 4: Tim Reynolds 87 & Addison Sherriff 74 vs. Eastern Suburbs
  • Round 5: Tim Reynolds 140* vs. Hawkesbury
  • Round 6: Addison Sherriff 105 vs. Parramatta
  • Round 7: Jamieson Hedges 71* vs. UNSW
  • Round 8: Mac Jenkins 4/39 vs. Sydney
  • Round 9: no award (no play due to rain)
  • Round 10: Tim Reynolds 84* vs. Western Suburbs
  • Round 11: Harrison Ward 74 & Harry Gardner 4/54 vs. Sydney University
  • Round 12: James Campbell 3/12 & Harri Lee-Young 68 vs. Mosman
  • Round 13: Jimmy Greenslade 82 & Addison Sherriff 3/45 & 47 vs. Northern District
  • Round 14: James Moore 93 & 5 keeping dismissals vs. Manly
  • Round 15: Jamieson Hedges 5/39 & Jimmy Greenslade 120 vs. Sutherland
  • Round 16: Adam Thomas 110 & Addison Sherriff 101 vs. Fairfield-Liverpool

As has become customary, we enjoyed a video recapping the First Grade season and all the winners at our Presentation Night, which can be viewed below.
