Adam Crosthwaite; 2014/15 Season
Manly Warringah District Cricket Club | August 22, 2026

By the time the 2014/15 season arrived, Adam Crosthwaite had already established himself as one of the premier players in Sydney Grade Cricket.
A former Victorian and South Australian representative, as well as a former First Grade captain at Manly Warringah Cricket Club, Crosthwaite had built an outstanding reputation as a prolific wicketkeeper-batsman.
Remarkably, despite his already impressive achievements, he elevated his game to another level during a season that culminated in Manly breaking its long premiership drought.

Following a stellar 2013/14 campaign in which he scored four centuries, Crosthwaite relinquished the wicketkeeping gloves for the 2014/15 season and focused solely on his batting. The move proved highly successful as he once again produced four centuries, including an unbeaten 102 against Blacktown in Round 2, 125 against Hawkesbury in Round 5, 102 against traditional rivals Bankstown in Round 11, and a magnificent unbeaten 201 in the semi-final against Sutherland.
His double century was one of the defining innings of the season and played a pivotal role in securing Manly's place in the Grand Final.
Across all formats, Crosthwaite amassed a club-record 1,455 runs at an outstanding average of 58.20. His consistency, leadership and ability to deliver in the biggest moments made him one of the driving forces behind Manly's historic First Grade premiership triumph.
The season stands as one of the finest individual batting campaigns in the club's history and further cemented Crosthwaite's legacy as one of Manly Warringah Cricket Club's greatest players.
