Tell us about your cricket journey.
I started my junior cricket at Springwood Cricket Club in U10s, where I played for 5 years before moving to Glenbrook Blaxland Cricket Club for my final year of juniors. I played Penrith Mollie Dive (U13), Margaret Peden (U15) and Brewer Shield (U18), and I currently play second grade for Penrith.

How would you describe yourself as a cricketer?
I would describe myself as a batting all-rounder. I open the batting and bowl medium pace.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
I enjoy working on my game and being competitive while also having fun with my friends.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
My most memorable cricket moment has been batting 48 overs to chase down the runs at Bill Ball Oval against Southern Swans in Brewer Shield, 2024.
Who’s your favourite all-time cricketer?
Usman Khawaja because he’s a really patient and skilful batter who has played some incredible innings, and he is also a great person and role model.
Who is the fastest bowler you’ve played against?
Emma Hughes in the nets or Aurora Mavros in an actual game
Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?
Jaaniya Shah
Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
Annabel Batty’s 134* at Raby Oval – even though we lost the game, she batted amazingly and I was able to be out there with her for most of it.
Who is the best wicketkeeper you’ve had the good fortune to play with?
Annabel Batty is the best wicketkeeper I’ve played with.
Is there a player in your club you think is one to watch – someone who might go far?
Mithula – because she is still so young but is already such a great player with both the bat and the ball.
Who are the two players you’ve come to admire most in your club in terms of skills and competitive spirit?
Elise Noble and Annabel Batty are two very talented batters, and they work very hard on all aspects of their game.
What are the two attributes you like to see in a captain and leader?
I would like to see them thinking strategically and having confidence in their decisions.
Which singer/band would you like to see perform live?
SOAD
Favourite location, city or country as a holiday destination?
I love going to Ireland to see my family.
Who’s been the biggest influence on your career so far?
My dad – he was the coach for my junior cricket team at Springwood for many years, and he takes me to the nets and always encourages me to keep working hard and doing my best.
Where do you find inspiration that gets you through challenging times?
I find inspiration in my friends and family.
Who are the three people in the world you’d love to meet and talk to?
I’m not sure.
What do you like to do to relax outside cricket?
I like to hang out with my friends, be in nature and exercise.
If working, what do you do outside of cricket?
I’m in year 12 at the moment, and I work at Bakehouse on Wentworth in Leura.
Do you have a favourite quote?
‘Hard work beats talent.’
What are your goals for the next season?
I want to consistently score runs and get faster at bowling and work on some variations.
What would it mean to you to play first-class cricket?
Playing first-class cricket would be an incredible achievement and I would feel so proud to have accomplished my dream and be the best I can be.
