Penrith Cricket Club | April 28, 2025

On the 30th of November 2019, Adam Bayliss would make his First Grade debut against Fairfield-Liverpool at Rosedale Oval.

Adam is presented First Grade Cap #222 by his Dad, Trevor Bayliss, who holds Penrith First Grade Cap #64.

The special moments would continue for Adam, bringing up triple figures with an unbeaten 104 off 226 deliveries, including four sixes and six fours.

Adam is congratulated by Captain Ryan Smith as he makes his way from the field.

Bayliss, alongside Brent Williams (90), would guide Penrith to 7d-341, although the match would end in a draw with Fairfield-Liverpool finishing on 8-300. Bayliss would bowl the one over in the Fairfield-Liverpool innings, conceding 15.

In the Annual Report, Captain Ryan Smith would describe the innings as "a very gutsy hundred when the team was in trouble". While also mentioning the reaction from the Bayliss family. "I can remember looking over to AB's proud parents, Julie's tears were flowing and Trevor... well Trevor was out of his chair and applauding, to which AB later said that is about as animated as Trev gets".
