In his first season out of Green Shield Zach made his 3rd grade debut during the 2024-25 season.

What year were you born?
2007
Tell us about your cricket journey.
Played my junior cricket for Emu Plains and for Reps, Penrith. Then joined Penrith senior cricket club during my under 15’s year of reps and have played since my highest grade being 3rd grade and also playing a full season of green shield and also having a game in PG’s
If you can share with our readers how you would describe yourself as a cricketer?
Keeper who likes to take the game on with the bat.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
Love the grind of turning up for every game and preparing each week at training for each weekend and having a laugh with teammates on and off the field.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
Making my PG’s debut was a great memory as it was a do or die game for our season and also the faster speed of the game and higher calibre of players is something I really enjoyed.

Travis Head
Who is the fastest bowler you’ve played against?
Jordan Fullagar for ND’s played him in a 4th grade as his first game back from injury and this season he is now playing 1st grade
Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?
Aarush Soni was always really tough in juniors
Who is the best spinner you’ve kept wicket to?
Adam Burton, Owen Cole or Isaac Nicholls any of them!
Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
Sam Billings in a T20 game for Penrith was unbelievable
Who are the two players you’ve come to admire most in your club in terms of skills and competitive spirit?
Pete Gregersen Or Tyran Liddiard their passion is unmatched!
What are the two attributes you like to see in a captain and leader?
Calmness & Experience

Adam Burton loves a random group chat selfie
Favourite location, city or country as a holiday destination?
Fiji
Who’s been the biggest influence on your career so far?
Probably Shannon Finemore completely changed the way I look at the game or Tyran or Grego purely on how much they love winning
Where do you find inspiration that gets you through challenging times?
Just the desperation to win and prove people wrong

Adam Gilchrist, Pep Guardiola, Luke Littler
