Gordon District Cricket Club Third Grade Premiers 1940-41
Gordon District Cricket Club | July 16, 2026

The 1940–41 season was heavily affected by World War II. Many senior players had enlisted in the armed forces. Consequently, clubs relied more heavily on younger players and club stalwarts and player availability changed throughout the season. Interestingly, while Third Grade and lower grades were completed, Fourth Grade was not contested that season, reflecting the effects of the war. This was Gordon's second Third Grade premiership, their first had been in 1924–25.
