Gordon District Cricket Club Green Shield Campaign 2025-26

Gordon District Cricket Club | December 12, 2025

Under the direction of coaches Matt Nicholson and Connor Hindmarch, four Gordon Green Shield players will represent the Stags this season for their third year in the competition.

Outstanding wicketkeeper and captain, Sean Twining will be a player to watch and strong results are anticipated from top order batsmen, Aarav Ahluwalia and George Harris. Fast bowlers Archie Hetherington and Charlie Chippendale will lead the fast bowling department, in a balanced attack sprinkled with younger players in both pace and spinning capacities.

Country player, Cooper Williams from Lismore, will play his second season for the Stags Greenies and is a young batsman possessing much potential. He captained the NSW U15 team last season at the Australian Championships, and his early season form has been excellent.

Gordon should again be competitive in this year’s campaign with experienced players again being complemented by talented younger players eager to make their mark at the club. The squad is as follows:

Aarav Ahluwalia

Braiden Ball (Newcastle)

Charlie Chippendale

George Harris

Archie Hetherington

Tanush Lokray

James McDaniel

Joel Pagano

Jack Phillips

Rishab Reddy

Arjun Sankar

Ronnie Singh

Veraj Singh

Sean Twining (Captain)

Cooper Williams (Lismore)
