Picture 2 – April 2013 “2012-13 1st Grade Premiers”

An amazing win for our St George 1st Grade team over Sutherland at Bankstown Oval. After going down in the first innings (177 to 224) The Saints managed to dismiss Sutherland for 88 in their 2nd innings off the back of an amazing Trent Copeland 20.5 over spell that saw him finish with 7-43. His opening partner was none other than Australian legend Josh Hazlewood who finished with 2-29 from 12 overs. St George then picked off the required runs to win the Belvidere Cup finishing with 1-140 with Kurtis Patterson finishing with 58 not out. The game was a wonderful example of the strength of the NSW Premier Cricket Competition at the time with a host of First Class and International cricketers taking part including Kurtis Patterson, Trent Copeland, Josh Hazlewood (St George) and Nic Maddinson, Ben Dwarshuis, Adam Zampa (Sutherland).

Picture 3 – Feb 2014 “Steve Wark & Englishman Matt Spriegal star against Manly”

Picture 4 – May 2015 “Hurstville wins Ground of the Year”

...and he's done it again. Well played to Adam Lewis and team for once again winning the Sydney Cricket Association "Ground of the Year" award. St George DCC club is blessed to have such an amazing and historic home and a curator that takes such pride in his work.

Picture 5 – April 2016 “The many Salads of Nathan Ellis”

An all out massive congrats to Nathan Ellis. He was the Sydney First Grade leading wicket taker with 58 wickets. Last Friday night he was named the winner of the St George DCC First Grade Players Player Award and as you can see he has a "Salad" to be proud of. Nathan is now in the UK ready to back up his amazing first season with the Saints. Wish him luck and vote for your favorite Nelly hairstyle....
