Tell us about your cricket journey.
I started at Yamba cricket club at the age of 6 playing in an under 8s comp then when we moved to Newcastle I’ve played at Belmont ever since.
If you can share with our readers how you would describe yourself as a cricketer?
I would describe myself as a batting all rounder who bowls mean offies.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
I enjoy the game itself but also the bond that me and the boys have made over the years.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
Most memorable moment would be the week I spent in Darwin captaining the Victorian strike league team.
Who’s your favourite all-time cricketer?
Favourite cricket player of all time would have to be Luke Harradine. All these other superstars are overrated wait until you can say your father if your favourite cricket player, that’s a proud moment.
Who is the fastest bowler you’ve played against?
Faster bowler I’ve played against,? I can’t remember his name but in Darwin this bloke was Wes Agars opening partner and he was bowling rapid, he broke someones arm and 2 fingers that game and thank god it wasn’t mine.
Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?
Best spinner i’ve played against is a bloke named Roop Dhillon, he is a leg spinner from Manly. Him and I have played against each other for a few years and I would say him
Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
Luke Harradine 2 or 3 years ago at Waratah scoring 100 and to be their watching has to be one of my proudest cricketing moments
Is there a young player in your club you’d like to nominate as a player to watch?
Connor Gibson
Who are the two players you’ve come to admire most in your club in terms of skills and competitive spirit?
James Burke and Connor Gibson
What are the two attributes you like to see in a captain and leader?
A winners mentality but also takes the time to rally his troops and make sure they are up for any and all challenges

Who’s considered the biggest pest at your club?
Nathan King, no question

Favourite location, city or country as a holiday destination?
Ibiza
Who’s been the biggest influence on your career so far?
Luke Harradine, he has and will be the best teammate, captain, coach and dad and I'm very lucky to call him all of these
Where do you find inspiration that gets you through challenging times?
My parents, seeing them be able to get through any challenges or troubles has helped and motivated me to be able to do the same

What do you like to do to relax outside cricket?
Hang out with the boys
If working, what do you do and name of business, if at Uni what are your studying?
I’m a barista in Merewether at a place called Sidetrack and am studying to be a PE teacher at uni
What are your goals for the next season?
To be able to score some huge runs all season and take bulk poles

It would mean the world to me as it has been a dream since a very young age.
