(HKHDCCA), in partnership with the Australia-India Women's Cricket Association (AIWCA) Inc., supported by Northern District Cricket Club.
The Coaches’ Association (HKHDCCA) has a proven track record in delivering high quality overseas cricket tours, following successful U/15 Boys tours to Sri Lanka (2015), West Indies (2017), northern India (2019), and southern India (2023). We are delighted to now be able to offer the same experience to female cricketers and their families.
Our Girls development tour to India in April 2024 will comprise 7 matches (5 x 40 overs, and 2 x T20s – one being a Day / Night fixture), playing against high quality academy teams on premier cricket grounds in Delhi and Jaipur. The team will also be treated to a range of fantastic cultural and tourist attractions, including visiting the Taj Mahal, and attending an IPL match.

Q: I was pleased to partner with Paul Chambiras in his CAS 1st XI umpiring debut in Round 1 between St Aloysius and Cranbrook at Willoughby on 7-14 October 2023. Paul is an experienced, former NSW Premier Cricket umpire, and is a welcome addition to our panel.
The match went well with Cranbrook recording a comfortable victory. It was another high standard schoolboy contest featuring centuries by Sam (Cranbrook) and Tommy (Aloys), plus a 5/for by Riley (Cranbrook).
I have umpired in the CAS 1st XI cricket competition since 2009-10 and have been the Convenor of the CAS Umpires’ Panel since 2016-17. On special occasions, we get a photo of the Captains, Umpires & Coaches, and the first photo is this sequence is from the recent Aloys v. Cranbrook match.
I would welcome enquiries from experienced umpires who may wish to join our panel, as we have room for two more umpires.

Q: Coaches’ Association Girls Under 17 Cricket Tour to India Expressions of Interest – April 2024.

The Coaches' Association (HKHDCCA), in partnership with Northern District Cricket Club, organises amazing overseas cricket tours, each of which have been highly successful. The joint partnership has conducted four previous Boys U/15 tours to Sri Lanka (2015), West Indies (2017), (northern) India (2019), and (southern) India (2023).

After months of planning and liaison with our experienced travel agents in India, Melsh Sports Tours, we are pleased to confirm that the Coaches’ Association and NDCC will be conducting an Under 17 Girls representative tour to northern India from 13 – 25 April 2024.

Q: I am proud to be a member of NSWCUSA, which has to be the most reputable umpiring body outside of MCC Lords. I can still recall the international umpires who presented at my initial NSWCUSA training course in 2002, including Simon Taufel and Darrell Hair. There are so many great umpires and people willing to share their experience and advice.
NSWCUSA provides expert training, resources, coaching and feedback, and I have received very good support from Darren Goodger, Claire Polosak, Troy Penman and Bede Sajowitz. As mentioned above, I am the Umpires’ Co-ordinator for the Associated Schools of NSW (CAS), and we are formally affiliated with NSWCUSA.
Arthur Watson has also been a wonderful colleague and source of umpiring guidance to me over the years, as I’ve been fortunate to partner him on the field about 12 times. Arthur holds the record for the highest number of matches umpired in NSW Premier Cricket. He is a former international umpire, having officiated in three ODI matches involving England, Australia and the West Indies in 1979-80.
