question
Q: Just a casual post...

Kaya has hit yet another half century yesterday playing for Parra (PDCA) in her rep/district match and also has crossed 1000 runs for the 2nd season in a row.

She is only 11 and tops the ladder with an insane avg. But still I don't know whether we're on the right path. As far as she's enjoying the game we love, we'll always support her.

And I don't know whether breaking several records mean anything at all... but these sort of little moments create big memories in our lives for sure.
question
Q: What a year this has been. Phew!

My little 11 yr old daredevil Kaya has hit another century, this time in Mollie Dive (Reps/district match) in the wet weather yesterday morning. In fact, she has taken a 6fa too and past 2 weeks she has been scoring 50s playing with both boys and girls and remaining not out.

Anyways, every century is a special one and don't know how many 11-year-olds have scored a century in Mollie Dive. ❤️💪🏏
question
Q: It's a casual and a late post...

Kaya has made an impressive start to the season, scoring 69 not out (10x4s and 4 x 6s) in her first match from just 35 balls. Despite the season having only begun two weeks ago, she has already accumulated 253 runs and has been dismissed only three times.

This year, Kaya is focused more on achieving different milestones rather than pursuing awards. She's working working hard and closely with her mentors to explore various strategies and approaches for the season ahead, so it will be exciting to see what she accomplishes.

Kaya's versatility is on display as she competes in multiple age groups and against both boys and girls, despite being only 11 years old. She has already demonstrated her skills against U13 rep boys teams like Manly, Hornsby, Hawkesbury, Fairfield, and more, achieving decent rankings in both batting (14th) and fielding (3rd). Notably, her U12 mixed team has won three out of seven matches, showcasing the girls' prowess in batting, bowling, and fielding compared to the boys.

Please wish her luck in all her experiments and endeavors this season! 🤞🤞🤞

Q: Our NSW Under 12 PSSA girls are the National Champions 🏆. Meaning, we're the number 1 U12 team in Australia.

What a fantastic win we had in the grand finals against South Australia. It was a complete team effort by our girls and all our girls have so much potential to become stars. They in fact played brilliantly all the 40 over games for 6 days with patience, determination and passion.

I think as a Vice-Captain, Kaya has done her job. She is the highest run scorer for NSW in the comp with more than 130% strike rate although she missed out on hitting couple of 50s.

Anyways, I don't know whether these things matter a lot but definitely it's a great birthday present to me.

Go NSW. 👏👏👏
